Training on da Vinci robotic system

da Vinci S system is also located in the TELEC building, which is currently used for training. It presents the unique opportunity for surgeons to immerse themselves in the 3D world of robotic surgery and experience the capabilities and advantages of robotic systems - the ability of fine movements  in tight spaces and get to hard-to-reach areas. This could be accomplished by tools with increased mobility and dexterity using the EndoWrist system , which is inspired by the movements of the human wrist. This allows a much greater range of motion and better surgical accuracy when performing procedures. This is the first robotic system in Bulgaria, which is used only for training and currently the only one. The system allows training on box simulators, as well as performing procedures on live tissue.
