Objectives of the course:
to teach the basic skills that are necessary for the productive development of the clinical laparoscopic practice;

Practicing on virtual pelvic trainer and on live tissue in order to improve the technical skills of the participants in the course.

Da Vinci Robot is a reality at Medical University-Pleven

Da Vinci Robot is highly advanced equipment for performing robotized surgery and the so-called surgery from a distance. Such a system has software for gynecological surgery. It is the second of installation in the whole South-eastern Europe. The system is supplied with two hands and a console, from which one can perform the surgical activities.

For the perfect functioning of such a system it is necessary to have:
A modern operating room equipped for Telesurgery;
Endoscopic training center;
The participation of a certified gynecological surgeon who has completed the four levels of training.
